Root sweet overclock app

Hey Hroark
J Rummy came out with a sweet looking overclock app called Android overclock on Market!
Sad it doesn't support us.
Any closer to a kernal that overclocks? But,then we probably couldn't use any app unless its deved for us?!?
With cm9 can we get a newer kernal?

I beleive its been said in forms, that our prevail is hardware locked even if Hroark comes out with a new rom we could not over clock this phone. Here is the link to wear i read it.

My phone gets pretty hot now sometimes on the charger when I use it a lot. Probably not a good idea to overclock even if you could.

I believe that this processor can be overclocked the palm pixie has the same chip the qualcomm msm7627 and has been overclocked to 900mhz while we have the qualcomm msm7627-3 were the -3 represents a factory overclock of 800mhz.

I just came from a plan pixies plus and confirmed that it was over clocked the plan had a vary laggy ram and such lol but over clocked made it run like the pre plus

We cant even compile a new kernel zImage for this phone yet, so I dont think OC will be possible

The EJ06, CTMOD 2.x and CM7 beta 3.5 use the same kernel zImage just different initramfs (ram disk)

A overclock is possible but we need to compile a working zimage Ive been trying but I just end up with a bunch off errors. A overclock was possible on the palm pixie it so its not hardware locked.

yes, I guess at some point we will reach the ceiling with how much the Prevail will take. like stretching a rubber band. At least we can mod the hell out of it!

Hey horak is ur modded cm9 on ur gethub I would like to play around with it and see what I can I understand the risks in useing a non realeased unstable port. But if I CAn try my hand at learning what u did then it will help me learn to get miui on are phone s
