Swiftkey 3 beta bogging down phone?

I feel like my phone has been extra laggy since installing it. I love it more than anything, but it uses 77mb??? I dunno, anyone else seeing this issue with it?
 
I haven't noticed a performance drop off, but I do get annoyed with it popping up and telling me its new features every so often. That happens to everyone, right?
 
I've only noticed a lag after sending a text and then clicking homescreen - the keyboard stays up for a second longer, over my wallpaper, and then drags down out of sight.
 
I installed it a few days ago and have had no issues with it (except for the annoying popup).

Overall, I'm amazed at how much better it is than 2.x. I didn't think they could make it better. I do wish there was a better way to get to the comma, but that's a nit.
 
I noticed my phone started lagging considerably a couple days ago (I've been running the beta for over a week now). I chalked it up to the ROM I was running and have since switched. Was only this morning so I can't claim it was SK. Either way, I'm not giving it up as it's just too awesome.
