Does everyone get this? Or is it just me? How can I save battery using this keyboard? Because it is simply amazing.
Amazing? When a keyboard drains your battery that quick it's worthless. It's like having a great car with an empty gas tank.

No, but it's keyboard application. They work same on all phones.
You might think that, but it is not true. The Connect has problems with battery drain on many keyboards. If I use SwiftKey and forget to switch back to the Gingerbread one then my battery usage goes through the roof! I have seen it as high as 90%. I use it when I am going to be entering a lot of information, but as soon as I am done I switch back to Gingerbread and kill SwiftKey. That seems to work.
