Before I Upgraded to gingerbread, my settings in fro yo were for the screen to timeout after 30 seconds and for this pattern lock to come on after 15 minutes. That is exactly how I have my phone set up now, the only problem is that as soon as the screen dims the swipe lock it comes on Even if I disable all security. Before gingerbread I was able to have my settings the way I wanted but when the screen dims the swipe lock would not come on until 15 minutes. Then I would swipe the lock and enter in my pattern. In this case, it's forcing to swipe lock regardless of the settings that I have set.
