Swiping Right/Left Over Contacts to Text or Call

Hi all -

I'm doing the research for 2 friends that got Epics. I am an AT&T user and have a Captivate (which I am in love with) and after all of my demonstrations 2 of my friends who have Sprint decided to get the Epic.

Quick question though: One thing they loved on my phone is that if you swipe left over a contact you go to text them and if you swipe right over a contact you call them. All the reviews for the Epic say that it can do this but I tried this on both or my friends' Epics last night and it didn't work.

What's going on?

Most likely a Touchwiz 2.5 vs 3.0 issue, you guys are on 3, we are on 2.5.

Will Touchwiz get updated with the Froyo update?

Doesnt work. However if you tap on their pic it you will get a small pop up for calling, texting or emailing. Depending what info you've added to their contact info. For example if you didn't ad an email address then you only have a choice of calling or texting.
