switching between homescreens after update

Before the update whenever I slid to the next home screen a menu of homescreens would appear on the bottom so I could just tap on the last homescreen to go there. Now since it has some icons for various programs always at the bottom of the screen I have to manually scroll to the last homescreen (where my airplane, bluetooth...etc widgets are) wich involves swiping multiple times to get to the screen. Is there a fix for this?

Double tap the home button, all 5 screens should appear, choose the one you want to go too.

Double tapping will go to whatever you set it as, it's different for everyone. I set mine for texts. Pressing the home button once will bring the screens up.

Thats what i ment, i was on a different screen so tapping home brought me to my home screen tapping home again brought up the 5 screens.

Oh I see what you meant. I always have my double tap set for texts so if I am on a different screen I have to tap twice slowly.
