Help Switching Calls

I sometimes find myself in the situation where I have called someone and am leaving a voice mail when the person calls me in the middle of the message from the same number. When I answer their call I am still recording the voice message. How can I hang up on the voice message and not the caller?
I can't find anywhere in the manual that covers this.

I've not tried this but... both calls should show on your phone's screen. Try tapping the original call which should switch to the call you placed. Once there you should be able to hit the end call button. That should leave you to your second or incoming call. I would like to think that's how it works...

I had been looking for an answer to this on my Inc2 and now my Rezound, never been able to find one. This solution drops both calls...
