Help Switching itself off when fully charged

Hi,

My S3 mini seems to turn itself off when it's fully charged. I'm thinking it's only if the phone is left idle for a long amount of time after it's fully charged, because I mostly charge overnight.

Is this a setting or is this a problem with my phone?

Sounds more like a problem with the phone. I charge overnight and don't have this problem.

Hi there we are getting this with a few of our business users phones - complaining of the phone reaching full charge in the night and then at some time before the morning turning off completely and preventing the alarm from going off.

This is affecting at least five phones which we believe have nothing unusual about their settings.

my s3 mini kept restarting itself when it had been idle for a few hours so someone suggested doing a factory reset and its worked !! switch the phone off , hold the up volume key the home key and the on button when the phone comes on go to factory reset and hey presto ! fixed , its worth a go for nothing
