Help Switching off and battery going in 5 mins

Hiya,

I'm new here! Please be gentle!!!

I have had my desire for a few months now and love it! Recently it has started switching itself off for no reason, and then yesterday it went from fully charged to no battery at all in the space of 5 mins.

Please help!! I'm not sure if this is a know issue or if my phone is about to go kaput!!!

You could replace the battery with one that doesn't go flat within 5 mins.

Regarding the turning off, you may have to send it off to get looked at.

I have a HTC Desire also and very impressed as I had a HTC Touch prior. Yesterday my battery went flat.After I put it on charge I could not get the the phone to boot up. It comes up with the telstra logo but thats as far as it goes. The on/off button does not seem to register. I've removed the batterry, sim and sd card and it still wont boot up. Hope I can get some advice before I lose my fone for another week.
