Help SWUpgrade Not Working?

Trying to root my phone, ive uninstalled all drivers then reinstalled also using the old swupdater with the sdx patch. When i get to the last step on the swupgrade i click go and its only like a 4 second process and doesnt really send the rom over to the phone. Any ideas?

What file are you trying to use with the updater. It sounds like you are trying to flash a .zip file which isnt going to work. The updater can only flash .tar files.

Yep, updater flashes the .tar file only. you need to put the .zip file on the SD card and then boot into recovery using the camera/answer/end call buttons.
