Help Swype after update

Roxolid

Well-Known Member
Swype does not recognise my phone after the gingerbread update.
It flags up that it is not configured for my device,,,,,
anyone else got this problem ?...

You should run the swype installer program again. It will ask you to disable the keyboard and then generate you a new license.

Happens to me all the time when I switch custom roms.

Just to add to the above, I had to do an uninstall of Swype (not the installer) and a reinstall to get it back up and running post update.

Been there ....done that...

will try uninstall next...fingers crossed

Happened to me too, first thing I noticed when I upgraded to Gingerbread.

I uninstalled, reinstalled Skype Beta (Installer and program), rebooted the phone and all was well again. Hope it works.
