Swype Button question

Does anyone know a way to disable the swype help button in the keyboard? I tend to hit it a lot by accident. I do love being able to do the voice to text with the update as well.. My wife will finally convert to the Acend now, Plus with the new Visual Voicemail app from the Metro App store it would be like her old Samsung Moment from Sprint, but no contracts or price gauging

Did a quick search and found this on xda-developers.com.. Sounds like this is a good place to start.. May be an easier way but I don't know.. Little bit over my head at the moment but I may give it a shot down the line.. From the sound of the directions, besides what they mentioned you'll need you'll also have to be rooted, download terminal emulator, and i'm guessing busybox.. Not sure what OS your on.. Most of the custom ROM's include these..
