Root swype help

ok so im having an issue with swype. i was having issues with my phone rebooting so i cleaned house and installed mikg 3.0 (which is the bomb btw) i tried using a swype apk i had and to no avail. i get the beta has expired. no biggie. so i went to beta.swype.com and did the whole register thing only to get an email with instructions which i followed. but while downloading swype it gave me a parcel error. and i cant log into their website cause i didnt get an activation email and when i wanted to get it sent again i still got nothing. not in spam folders or anything. anyone know what i can do? this regular typing is horrible lol:confused:
 
Mizzou has a post around here somewhere with a link to the swype app. I installed it yesterday, works fine.

You have to go to the Language/Keyboard setting to get it to work btw.
Also, I should state that I did *nothing* besides installing the .apk and activating it with the language setting. No hassling with emails or beta nonsense.

Yeah give it a shot. I prefer the regular non swype ics keyboard. I feel like I end up having to constantly change whatever swype thinks I'm typing. Surely it's user error on my part.

I personally find swype to be insanely more difficult to 'type' on than the stock keyboard, but the 'swyping' is surprisingly accurate (mostly).
 
i hit the wrong letter all the time on the regular keyboard. im pretty good with swype can type a lot faster and with less errors.
 
I've followed all the directions for activating swype but have had no success. BTW I had swype before and it worked fine till I took it into the AT&T Flagship store for another problem (voice activation) and now neither of them work.

Could anyone out there please help me?

What errors are you getting when you try to install Swype?
What device and carrier do you have? (Perhaps I will move this to another thread/forum for more help--that's why I asked;) )
