Root swype install help

My rom doesnt come with swype and so i got the swype beta from their website but now my beta trial has expired...i live off of swype. Is there any way i can get it again?

You should just be able to update it in swype settings.

Settings>language and input>settings for swype>upgrade swype

Hmmmm... did you try logging in on the beta site and redownloading?

Or creating a new account?

I could try that i was just looking for a solution so i never have to do that again...like the default swype that comes with the phone would be nice

Try TouchPal instead of Swype. It's not as accurate in my opinion but it is free so no worries about it expiring. Can't hurt to try at least

Yeah i use swype beta and it is up to date but i have read that it isn't working properly in the swype beta forums....the new beta won't save any of my new words to my dictionary so it sucks and i went back to the swype that came with the phone which is in the rooting for dummies section and you download the removed apps zip...then you move the swype.apk to system/apps and then you will have your stock swype....i like beta better hopefully they get it fixed soon

ps...I'm pretty sure there is no trial on swype beta but i could be wrong

Me and my girl had Swype beta and both expired... it lasted a long ass time but ended none the less

TouchPal is pretty damned accurate. It just doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the other keyboards have. The main thing is that it's accurate. The only place I'm able to use the new SwiftKey right now is on my phone. That doesn't really help me much because I've gone back to using Thumb Keyboard on it. I would use it on my tablet in place of TopuchPal but they have a bug where the only way the new SwiftKey will work is in portrait mode. That just won't get it because I use it in landscape 95%of the time. Hopefully they'll get the bug worked out soon so I can use it on the tablet. I look forward to that day. lol
