Swype resolution issue

I have swype 1.61, when I try and type with it it tells me the resolution is incorrect, then it doesnt pop up.

Also, I'm rooted using UD 8.0 rom and P3 900mhz kernel, I tried using a 2.4 version of swype, but same issue.

UD8 has font options, maybe try a different font and re-boot (?) At least that's what I would do next.

Tried it, just says the same thing, this package of swype does not match your screen size

Sounds like you have a version that might be for a different phone.
Is this an official beta? Or one of those floating around?

I had the official beta before i wiped my phone a couple months ago, i forgot my email and pass so I decided to just get the apk, I had 1.56 and it worked fine until a few nights ago, then it said I had to update because they released a new one. So I went and found 1.61, and then tried 2.4. and had those issues.

Seems the HTC keyboard wont work either...gaahhhh
