Help Swype search button

gabner

Newbie
Im using the modified Swype for the galaxy nexus.

Any time i need to search gmail i have to switch to the native keyboard for the keyboard search button. Anyone have a solution our is everyone having to do the same thing?

There used to be a search button in the gmail app but not with ICS.

There's a "want-to-search" button which brings up the box to fill in with your keywords but no "execute-search button". For that I have to switch to the default keyboard and hit the keyboard's search button.

Am I the only one?

Is the modified Swype still available for download? I looked and looked but could not find a legitimate download.

As you can see in the pics my gmail has the search icon and it's working fine
