Swype vs. SlideIt

I have never used Swype. But have had SlideIt on my phone for some time now and I think it is great. Is Swype better? If so how?
 
I loved Swype on my Captivate. Just installed SlideIT yesterday and not as happy with it. It doesn't have the recognition that Captivate has, seems off a bit more than Swype.
 
I've been using Swype on my Captivate since day one, and now on my Inspire, it's much faster and more accurate that SlideIT. At least for me it is.
