Hi I've just installed swype for thefirst time but I've noticed that its not letting my phone sleep. Is this right? I'm worried about the battery drain on the hd.

Did you change any settings from the default installed settings? You can try to remove it and re-install it. If all else fails and its still not working you can try SlideIt. That is what I use and I have no problems with it. Also are you sure its swype it thats causing to keep your screen on? I don't see how that could be the reason why your screen is staying on.

Ill check the settings to make sure. at the moment the screen doesn't seem to go to sleep when the phone isn't being used. It goes on off when I press the stand by button.
