Root SykkNyzz' Debloat Script for LG Volt (Stock Only)

i need that qremote since i lost my tv remote so i rely on my phone - it would be nice to have the debloated version of the rom but still have the qremote - since it hasnt been working i am now on cm12 and will go back when the qremote is fixed (i wonder if someone can figure out how to get qremote on cm12 that would be awesome)

Bg4mer,have you extracted and tried script? Just curious how many people
have got qremote working from this zip.
I debloated my phone on myself and didn't remove Qremote to start with.
I did download the Qremote zip on this thread and it seems to be corrupted as it won't even open on my computer.

There is a simple solution to all this though...I know you don't want to wipe out your phone restoring one app, so make a backup of what you have now, install a fresh zv5 ROM matching what you already had, backup Qremote and both Quickset apps, restore your backup, reinstall from your backup.

can you show step by step on how to do that please
(meaning how would you back up qremote and the quickset apps)

Use an app like Titanium, or Helium.
so i just finished following your steps
they restored just fine from the backup but q remote wouldnt open (when i press the app it would open then just simply close again (it doesnt say any error or anything it just closes))

I created a simple, yet not so simple debloat script for Rooted Stock Users
But this is what needs to be done in order for it to work
BTW I made this process worked on mine rather well.

1. Download to Internal/Ext SD
2. Install via Recovery (TWRP)
3. Reboot phone and wait
4. Install titanium back up (find a "modded" version on google preferably) and click on the check-mark in upper-right corner
5. Scroll to Un-Install
6. RUN Un-Install Non-backed up user apps
7. ???
8. Profit

This should clear up the mess left by the LG makers
and Gapps as well.

P.S. if there is a better way to do this. I would like to know because this is my first time creating a Flashable Script

here is the link to the 2 files needed to bring back the QRemote.
just download, extract it, and install like a normal app
I really love the idea but couldn't you do something like a modular Google Apps does and use Aurora installer to allow people to choose what they want to debloat and not?

Did you install the quickset apps too?
