When I click Sync All in Settings / Accounts & Sync my work Exchange email syncs, my weather widget syncs, my google calendar syncs, basically everything syncs except my private IMAP email account (Gmail). Why is this and can it be helped?
I'm using BatteryFu which initiates a Sync All every hour or two and keeps data connection disabled in between. But since the Sync All seem to leave out IMAP-accounts I end up with no sync at all on my IMAP-account. I've tried to set it to sync every hour as BatteryFu, but since neither HTC Mail nor BatteryFu lets you decide at which minute during the hour sync takes place, HTC Mail inevitably tries to sync during the 57 minutes of the hour that my data is turned off.
This is driving me crazy. I like the full screen HTC Mail-widget so I'd rather not use the Gmail-app unless there's a similar widget alternative out there.
