Sync contacts between droid users?

My wife and I both have droids. As such, we have 2 separate gmail accounts. We initially copied our contacts to google contacts (the same set for each of us). What I'm trying to figure out now is if there is a way to keep her contacts and mine sync'd with each other. Of course, as we each add a contact, it syncs with google contacts...but I want it to sync to mine if she adds a contact (or updates a contact) on hers.
Is that possible? TIA for the help!

Thanks gideonx...that might just do it. I must say though...I'm EXTREMELY surprised when searching, just how many people are looking for the same option...and WHY google isn't adding it. Google calendars are soooo easy to share, I display mine, my wife's, and my daughter's work schedule on my droid with the sharing. You wouldn't think that syncing/sharing contacts would be that hard!

I think the OP wants the accounts to sync without needing to be next to each other "bumping".
