Sync Droid To PC Application

Ok for everyone new at something other than iTunes, it looks like Motoroa has their own app to sync media to Motorola Android devices. It claims to sync WM and iTunes playlists (yay!) over as well as photos, custom ringtones, etc. The app is called Motorola Media Link.

So I started DLing it - and the name of the apps is Nero-MML. A re-branded version of Nero? It would explain the size lol....

DoubleTwist is an awesome program that works for various phones and devices that appear on your desktop (PC or Mac) as storage devices. The nice thing about this program compared to the Motorola Link program is that it works for Mac and it automatically looks @ your libraries of music, photos, and videos and allows you to drag and drop them in a more sophisticated GUI.

Also check out Songbird with the FolderSync add-on. Multi-platform, open source, and a good number (and growing) of add-ons. Probably the only solution out there for Linux, and it's actually a pretty good one.

Yeah that bothered me as well, Nero is bloated like not much else. But this seems to work OK so far.
