Help Sync Exchange/Google

Hello all -

First post, did my best to read through forum rules, etc. Have been a long time reader and need to post this question.

I am running a rooted Htc Evo through Sprint running a modded Gingerbread. I have my phone synced to Microsft Exchange Server at work and those contacts are coming up in my "contacts."

Question is, how can I merge these contacts with my primary gmail account listed on the phone. i.e. I would like to be able to log into gmail.com and see all of the contacts on my phone. Is there an app for this? Cant seem to find the setting. Really hoping that typing each name manually into gmail is not the answer.

Looking forward to contributing here as well as getting lots of help.

gsyncit will allow you to sync Outlook with your gmail account. IIRC there are some other options as well.

I'm not aware of any Android app that will do this off the top of my head.

Export Outlook Contacts to Google Gmail - Outlook - Microsoft Office

Just export your Outlook contacts to a CSV file, and then import that file into Google contacts. Instructions are on the link, above.

(Of course, this will not keep them in sync. But, you could repeat the 5 minute procedure every month and use Google's excellent duplicate sorting, eliminating, and merging functions take it from there.)
