Sync from phone to PC

I have been successfully using HTC sync 3.0 to sync my Outlook calendar with my Desire but have encountered a problem. I put in some events in the phone and tried to sync them with my PC but they didn't end up synched. It looks like you can only synch FROM Outlook to the PC. Anyone know if there is a way of getting the phone data onto Outlook?

Download Google calendar sync. Will sync outlook with your online Google calendar, which then syncs to the phone.

Settings will allow you to decide direction (one/two/both) and priority (outlook/google).
