Sync Help...2 of Everything!

Need some help. I originally created a Google ID to sync contacts and Calendar. Was trying some things and downloaded the Hot Sync and it synced my Outlook Calendar and Contacts. I have 2 of everything. How can I fix this? Whtas better to use, the Google Sync or Hot Sync of my Outlook on PC?

If you go into your settings>Data Synchronization>Google you can choose what you want to sync with google. e.g. I uncheck google contacts because I use outlook. Hope this helps
