after/while in the sbf i was bootlooping and had to pull the battery, got into recovery and did a factory date/cache wipe.

had to reinstall most all apps including TB.

any ideas?

You have to boot into stock recovery and wipe data/cache. And I read that you may have to do it multiple times for it to stick.

I have the same issue, I am about to sbf back to 2.2 and take the OTA and use the new expliot to get root. I am about sick on this version! Between market issues and the sync icon staying on and horrible battery life.

You will be essentially wiping the slate clean, so yes, you'll lose all your apps and settings. You can then redownload TiBu and restore all your apps. Yeah its a PITA, but not much else you can do.

Part of me wants to do that but I really hoping that the new Apex Rom will be out soon and fix some of these minor issues.
I hate having to search for the apps i had in the market that didnt redownload automatically. then re-doing all the home screens.

can you use the factory data reset, located in (settings-privacy) part of the phone. or have to go into recovery to do it that way.

Yes, you need to go through stock recovery.

I'm testing Apex 2.0 Alpha and it is very solid. Yes, the sync icon was fixed but then I had to wipe data/cache to load this ROM in the first place. Not sure which fixed the issue. My apps have been waiting in the Market through each data wipe that I have completed. Just in case, I have a batch file run that backs up all of my apps so that even if I boot up and none of my apps are there, I can download Tibu and restore quickly from there.

My suggestion is to get stock GB set up and all apps installed. When you have it the way you want it, go into recovery and do a nandroid backup. That way you can always go back to this exact setup without having to go through the whole customization process again. Do this each time you load a new ROM.
