Help sync no longer works

My phone is not rooted or anyhting crazy. I just noticed when I plug it in windows mobile device center does not pop up when in media mode, then when im in mass torage mode it ads f: but when I click on it, itsays insert disk like nothings there...I havent made any changed to my phone or laptop in weeks? just wondering how to get my photos and videos off now...

you have to mount the phone. When you connect it you will hear it connect to pc. Then drag down notification bar and select mount.
