Sync "Phone" Contacts with "Google" Contacts?

Searching has not come up with a good answer:

Every time I add a new contact it goes under "phone". I'd like it to go under "Google" where it would sync and be done with, but I also would like the current 6 I have under "Phone" to go to "Google".

Don't think you can do it internally on the phone. Since you only have 6, go on google, add them there, then sync. And make sure to always choose "google contact" when adding new ones from the phone
