Sync photos like iTunes

I'm not a big fan of iTunes but one thing I do like is that it makes small versions of all your photos purely to put on your iPhone/iPod. I have tried the new HTC Sync but it just uploads the full res version of my photos.

Does anyone know of any sync software for putting photos onto the Desire/Android? I guess I could use iTunes itself but I don't really want to use it at all, especially just for photos.

You could always use Google's Picasa for all your photo needs.

It has a batch edit feature that should allow you to down scale whole batches of images at once and then just sync em up using HTC Sync. I don't use picasa myself but I'm almost positive that feature is there.

Yeah I had thought about using something like Photoshop to batch resize a load of photos and that's not a problem, but what I'd really like it for something that will Sync them too. So that as-and-when I add photos to my computer they are then sent to the phone.
