Yesterday i went into U.S. Cellular and got a samsung mesmerize. When i got the facebook app it asked me if i wanted to sync my contacts that i already had in my phone with facebook. i did so my contacts in my phone now have all my friends faces next to it. however, whenever i call or text or receive a call or text the default face shows up (just a gray cartoon head) as if i never did sync up my contacts. i know that it worked because i can see the faces in my contacts, just not when texting or calling. how do i make it so i can see the face of the person i am texting/calling?

Sync up contacts with facebook...HELP!

I believe Google disabled the Facebook syncing because Facebook would not adhere to the Android APIs for contact syncing...
