Help Sync - what program are you using to Sync?

I just got the new version of Kies(link-below) - just wondering what you are using to sync your captivate? Also, what is the best way to root my new phone? LLooking at Super 1 Click, Unleash the Beast etc. Thanks for your help.

I don't "sync". That's the Apple/iTunes mentality. This is an Android phone.

I back up my data with Titanium Backup. I transfer media and other files using simple drag-and-drop.

Also, what is the best way to root my new phone

Kies doesn't run on Linux so it isn't an option for me.

Missing Sync from Mark/Charge. Took some setting up but once I got my wi fi settings right, it works great!
