Most websites gloss over this as it is "so easy" but I have struggled. My contacts appear to sync from the phone to the default gmail account but, after it finishes, there is nothing in Gmail. I have managed to get them there but only by importing from the backup folder I made when I copied the phone's folders to the PC.
Is there a simpler more effective way as I need to do the calendar as well.
