syncing contacts with the facebook app

on my TB, there is a glitch when you sync with the facebook app. the contact pictures are extremely low res. you had to use the htc facebook sync to avoid it

does the facebook for android have this problem?

im not sure about the tb but on my optimus v and evo shift the pictures are crystal on my facebook app

How exactly did you get your facebook to sync? When I go to account and click on add account and then choose facebook, it does nothing but send me back to the account screen. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

I miss this feature already :-(

I stopped using Contapps, perhaps I'll try going back to it. Go Dev might have something useful as well.

Incorrect. No fb sync since 2.3.3

edit - im on 2.3.4 and i have the option to do it. menu - settings - other settings - sync contacts

No fb sync at all.. Through app or onboard sync method

seems to be a bug on my galaxy nexus. I click accounts and sync then facebook and it just takes ne back to my account list rather than letting me select my facebook accoubt details.

This is not just an issue on your phone, everyone is experiencing this issue so don't worry. Hopefully it will be fixed sometime soon in the future.
