Syncing facebook contacts to my gmail accoutn

Is there anyway to sync my facebook contacts to my gmail contacts to display email and pictures and all that good stuff. Can it be done through my phone or do I have to do it manually> Has anyone done this?

If you download the Facebook app from the market, go into "sync" settings and "add" you facebook acct. When your done, your contacts that are synced in your facebook will show their pics in your contacts.

Something to add to that, you will need to make sure that your Google contacts names match *basically* exactly as they are in Facebook. My girlfriends name on Facebook is slightly different than in my contacts because she uses her First and Middle name on Facebook and I used her First and Last name in Google. I had to change her name in my Google contacts to match her name on Facebook to get it to sync.
