Help Syncing to Macbook Pro

Hey there - I just got my Note yesterday and I am loving it so far. Just don't quite know how to sync it with my MacBook Pro. I just got the Pro a few months ago as my first Apple computer, haven't had a chance to figure this part out. I did do a forum and google search but I am not quite sure what to exactly search for, so I may have very easily missed something.

I had an iPhone 4 up until Wednesday night when it got fried in a Bose Sounddock. I went and got a Note yesterday, so coming from an iPhone with extreme ease to sync, this is a bit challenging for me. I would like to put some music and pictures on my Note. When I plug it into my MacBook, it starts charging and I get a notification of "MTP connected", however I cannot for the life of me figure out how to view my phone. I do not have an SD card installed, I just want to use the phones plentiful internal memory. How would I go about doing this?

Thanks in advance for helping a new Android guy out haha.

i had this same problem, and its actually super simple(angered me that i couldnt figure it out) but go to settings, then wireless and networks and then usb utilities then usb mass storage! =D

doing that works, OSX sees it as a removable drive on the desktop but iPhoto for some reason does not recognize the camera and open to import photos. i have to manually drag the photos into iPhoto.

I LOVE doubletwist for photos and music it syncs right from itunes and its free i also use the doubletwist player on the phone as well

When you do this and pull up the pictures on the computer does your phone disconnect the usb storage and you have to start all over again and when you do it again it keeps disconnecting it?
i'm noticing that its doing it with all the folders that I go into.
Uhh. this is so aggravating. I've never had a problem with any other phone.
