syncing with facebook

Ok I am having trouble syncing my contacts with facebook. When I go to update or media tab on a contact, and then hit link contact, then get friends, and then find them in my facebook friends list, it then creates two seperate contacts in my phone contact list.

What am I doing wrong? I would like to be able to just link my contacts with facebook so there picture will pop up and also give me there FB info.

I go to the facebook contact and link it to the phonebook contact on the phone and or sim card. then I sort the list to show contacts with phone numbers only.
