i was wondering how would you go about taking a system app from one fone and install on another, for instance i have the connect and was trying to get the quick memo apk onto the esteem,or basicly anyother app,or is there anythinng else i could take from the connect and swape with or vice verses? thanks

Depends on the app
What app is it? I think most connect apps are compatible.

Put the app in system folder and restart

If it don't work, there may be a associates file needed to run the app, and you"ll have To do some searching.

For example:

To use ported ics keyboard, I do the same, but you must also take file "latinime.so" file and add it to system/lib/ and it fires right up.

Same went for a launcher I was using

If your program is called.... "doverapp". There may be a file called "sysdover20set.so" that needs to be added in order for it to work.

Make sense?

gotcha just need to llook further into the files of the sys app, quick memo is one of the apps, its prob going to be complicated because you have to use the volume buttons( rock them back n forth ) then it allows you to write on any screen and capture it and send it,just trying sumthing new
