Root System su permission

System requesting su permission?
A few minutes ago it was asking for permission and when I denied it my phone rebooted. I is that normal? Or is there something more to it?

Are you running a custom rom? Most custom roms have low level tweaks that require su access to do their magic.

I would do a lot of research before allowing that.

The general rule of thumb is you never grant root access unless you know what its for.

Exactly what I was thinking.

First thing I would do is contact your dev immediately and ask if its anything he has in the Rom. If so, what is is and why its needed.

Mobster Rom V is based on the Stock Rom with each mod and feature put in by me and as far as I know the system shouldn't be asking for SuperUser permission I recommend checking anything you may have downloaded recently.... Worst case scenario you can do a fresh install of the Rom

It says 'system' but can that be faked? Does it show up in the apps tab where you can click on it to view its path?

Mine usually asks right after I boot the phone up on the stock rom.I usually grant access and haven't had any problems yet.just a little fyi I guess...
