System Update F127

You still have to re-root the device. The OTA will kill your root, but it's fairly easy to get it back as I understand it. Other than that, it should be just fine.
 
Ditched this truly, 3G only phone.
Ditched Sprint. Wimax was joke!
Their tower tech is beyond reproach.

Moved to Metro PCS with a LG Spirit LTE and I'm
finally enjoying what I pay for - which is less than
half what Sprint was charging me for seriously
under-performing value for the dollar.

Metro PCS FTW!

The other carriers are just as bad. There's always something to dislike.

I am disappointed that they did away with the Premier program though. I've been a Sprint customer for over 10 years. They announced the Premier program just before I hit the 10-year mark, so it was really something (annual upgrade on primary number), then they opened it up to anybody who had paid their bill on time for 3 months. That got seriously abused, so they discontinued it, leaving longtime customers with nothing to keep them loyal.

That was sad, until I realized that Sprint doesn't really come out with worthy upgrades every year anyway. I find myself waiting two years just to find something appealing.
