Help system update issue. help!

just had system update which i did via my wifi connection.
however, now my screen is completely blank and only the home, menu etc lights at the bottom are on.
is it updating? whats going on?
all help is appreciated!

How long has it been like that for?

I was paranoid when mine updated because it took a while

been an hour now, am paranoid myself, and worried!

What's it done so far? How did it get to that stage?

it downloaded the system update then asked me if i wanted to start it, which i did.
thats when screen went blank, apart from the menu lights at the bottom.
nothing seems to be going on, i certainly cant see anything with this screen.

Tried turning it on and off?
