Help System Update not available

I just checked the system updates for giggles but it is saying that check for update was not available at this time. Try again later.

Anyone else seeing this? I am just worried that it might be because I am rooted.

What version does it say you're running? If you've already updated, it won't show an update available

I have already updated the phone with the OTA but it would say that the phone was updated and there are no updates available. This message is saying that Check Updates is not available.

I got this message when I didn't have 3G on, when I finally got a connection it was fine and showed the other message, system up to date.

The problem is that I am in 3G and it doesn't work. Can someone that is rooted check to see if they can check for updates?

So am I the only rooted Droid X owner that can access Check Updates?

So I have figured it out. I set the social networks to update on wifi only and this disabled the Check Updates for the system.
