--------------------------------------------------------------

1. Understanding the Update

Beginning *December 10*, the HTC One S devices that are on currently outdated software (1.53.531.16 or 1.84.531.2) will start receiving an update to software 2.35.531.10. It will be pushed to devices though an OTA through the end of December, or you can choose to download it earlier.

*Important:* Both 2.35.531.10 and 2.35.531.7 are up-to-date versions. If you have one of these two versions, you cannot update further as there would not be additional benefit.

You can update in two ways:

* *Over the air (OTA) update:* T-Mobile will push the update to your device sometime between 12/10 and 12/30. We cannot expedite this push to your device.

* *Manual pull down:* If you do not want to wait for the OTA, you can update immediately through the settings menu. See the steps for Download update from HTC below.

|| *Current Software Number* || *Update Status* ||

So jealous (I'm on TMOUS). I don't know why it is taking so long for Jelly Bean to come to the TMo HOS. I think it is Nexus only for me from now on.
