System update?.

Hi everybody, I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm a bit late to the game. What is this system update for software enhancement?. Should I go ahead and install it?. I'm on stock for now.

Go ahead and update. It allows voice over LTE and access to a faster band in many areas. Won't block root or anything.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I updated my lte seems about the same yesterday I got 31 today I've got 38 still have yet to test on other towers near by. Also (at least at the tower nearest to me, at home) there is no VOLTE yet... . Hopefully the update it soon. Nonetheless, Thank you for all the help,

NP dude. I lucked out and got 3 of these suckers on a surprise bonus check... I freaked before updating my use phone since it was the only one to get the update (other two are not connected).

Download and run v4.1 (accept installation of apps, they will be deleted later) turn off screen timeout first

Install this and run it to install and boot recovery

Reboot and allow twrp to install supersu

Delete king root apps

Boot recovery
