System Volume keeps resetting to LOUDEST...

My system volume keeps resetting itself to the loudest setting.

This happens every time I power down and back up and occasionally just out of the blue.

Anyone else having this issue? Know a cure?

Yes, same thing here. It's pissing me off. It also does it for me when I go into the Navigation app and then exit it.

I haven't noticed this. Are you referring to call volume?

No

It is the system volume for certain noises you hear for notifications and so on
Especially the little click sound when pressing certain buttons and selecting items.

Mine does the same thing, though I just cant put my finger on when it happens
but it keeps going back to 100% volume

You can find this under settings>sound and display>system volume

Happens to me when I use the GPS/Nav. Try it.

Yep - turned on Navigation - and as soon as I turned it off, system volume was at 100%
so freaking annoying

Happening on my fascinate also. Is annoying as hell. The navigation volume should be remembered internally in the different apps (gps, games, etc) while the system volume for touch/click sounds should be what system volume works for.

Nav resets mine as well.

Looks like Google is aware of it, but no fix yet.

(Note: Putting the phone in silent mode prevents this, however, if you do increase the volume while in Nav silent mode is disabled and system vol is maxed.)
