t IjusGosms app to default

I just tried this new sms app and like it very much,i even changed the the dock icon to gosms. However I have been having trouble setting it as my default sms app.i looked everywhere without a solution. I even tried going to manage apps and then trying to set defaults in messaging but it says no defaults set so out won't let me set gosms as default.can anyone help? Also I posted here because I believe the settings in the samsung phones. Is different
