Samsung Galaxy S III Hitting The US June 20th

After speaking with some of our sources, we can confirm that the handset will be hitting T-Mobile and AT&T in the US on June 20th.

TmoNews also confirms that it will be hitting T-Mobile on the 20th, lining up with what our sources claim. One of the most asked questions has been whether or not the US variants will be modified in any way. We have good reason to believe that they will be sticking to the same design that the international version boasts.

Sweet, my next phone probably, but Snapdragon? boo

actually, a lot of people think it will perform as good or better than the original choice. Also, there is 2GB of ram instead of 1 which will add a lot more capability than two additional cores would.

i went into the t-mobile store & they said that if i keep my current plan & upgrade to the s3 they will charge me $329 w/ a $50 mail in rebate...if i change my plan to one of their value plans & upgrade to the s3 they will charge me $329 + $20 a month for 2 years (the length of the contract). i don't see how every other carrier is only charging $199 with a 2yr agreement (upgrade or new) but t-mobile thinks that they can charge more...are they trying to loose customers?? they just lost this one!! (with all 5 of my lines!!!!)

So, I ended up getting the Galaxy Nexus instead. I've had it for almost two weeks now and I don't regret the decision at all. The only negatives are not having a SD card (which realistically I've never used more space than the 16GB that are on the Nexus) and the screen is slightly smaller. As for the screen though, this is the first phone I've had that I wasn't wishing for a bigger screen. I'm happy. All things considered, Getting it for over $200 cheaper ($385 after tax and shipping) isn't a bad deal at all). This combined with Value plans or pre-paid is DEFINITELY the way to go right now for power users.

I am a T-Mo customer currently out of contract. Can I get the SG3 for the $199.99 price with a family value plan?
