Root [T-Mobile] How to install custom ROMS

I have a rooted T-Mobile SG4 (M-919) I need help in making a back up of my stock Rom first, in case something goes wrong though. Can you offer me any help or link that can help me do this, please?!

whoa havent been on these forums for a while.
I can definentely help aswell.
I flashed supersu.zip to root for me using TWRP
