Just got a notification that my deductable went from $130 all the way up to $175.

I'm starting to wonder if I shouldn't just go to the $30 Walmart plan... What do you guys think?

Is it worth paying $77 with insurance or should I just go with the $30 Walmart plan instead?

I wouldn't pay $47/month for insurance with a $175 deductible for a $600 phone. If the $30 prepaid plan works for your usage then I'd go for that without a doubt. Just be careful for the next few months and it'll pay for itself.

I take it you didn't buy the phone in the last month but if you did, SquareTrade offers a 2-year warranty with $99 deductible for $125.

I've never had insurance on my phones. I've had plenty of cracked iphone screens that I've quickly fixed and was cheaper than paying for insurance coverage. I like to take my chances.
