Okay so im currently ising a s3 . But will get note 2 this weekend. My question is on s3 I had to backup the nv . On the note 2 . Is there some I need to backup in case I lose data and calls ? .thanks for any help

On the s3 you have to back up the nv. It hold the imei the phone number . . Incase you flash a rom and you lose that info you jus restore. I been reading and apn and efs seem to come up . So im asking what should I back up incase I flash a rom and lose information .

You shouldn't lose ANY of that with a ROM installation. One thing I can tell you however. Is that for some reason, as of right now, clockworkmod recovery doesn't save your APNs when you make a backup of a kitkat ROM. When you restore, you have no service and need to install the ROM fresh again. Just a side note to be wary of lol but as far as your imei and things like that, a ROM installation shouldn't mess with any of those things. But BE SURE to make a backup of your phone before the ROM installation. Just in case anything goes wrong. :)

Apn backup and restore
Instlation instructions [verified working on jellybean]

Set as system app in titanium
Run, error non ics detected, hit menu, disable ics check.
Close with back button
Run
Good to go, backup apn settings.
Then when u restore ur backup which will include apn backup and restore you can just restore your apn settings.

Somebody test this on kit kat.
