How do you know if you are getting the HSPA + speed of 3.9g or just regular 3g? Does the Network type in Wireless settings ever change from Edge? I'm new to the GSM network coming from VZW.

HSPDA (sp?) is usable, but HSPDA+ is not. You will get some speed benefit when in an HSPDA+ area, but the radio itself does not support it.
